Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo has opened up about his outstanding performance for AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League last season.

The formidable forward played a pivotal role for his club, helping them achieve a record-breaking Premier League points tally of 48, as the team finished 12th.

The 24-year-old appeared in 33 top-flight games last season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.

Speaking to the media team of AFC Bournemouth on Monday, after signing a contract extension deal, Antoine Semenyo shared his unforgettable experience from last season.

He expressed his desire for the club to continue striving for even greater achievements next season.

"Last season was one I will never forget. We demonstrated our capabilities. My journey has taught me to never take anything for granted but to seize each moment as it comes.

"It's the beginning of an exciting new era; let's keep pushing," Antoine Semenyo remarked, as quoted on the website of AFC Bournemouth.

Under his new contract, Antoine Semenyo has committed to stay with the club until 2029.
