Antoine Semenyo provided his second Premier League assist of the season as Bournemouth secured a 2-2 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

Bournemouth appeared set to suffer their first defeat in seven matches and their first away loss since November when Harry Wilson scored his fifth Premier League goal for Fulham in the 72nd minute.

However, with just minutes remaining, Semenyo delivered a brilliant assist, cutting inside on his right foot into the box and setting up Dango Ouattara, who coolly lobbed the onrushing goalkeeper Bernd Leno to level the score and break Fulham’s hearts.

Semenyo now has seven goal involvements after 18 Premier League appearances, with five goals and two assists.

The 24-year-old is just three goals away from matching his 2023/24 league tally and has already equalled his assist total from last season.

This performance caps off an impressive campaign for the former Bristol City forward, who has already won Bournemouth’s Player of the Month award for August and September 2024.

The draw moves the Cherries up to sixth in the league standings, putting them on course for their best-ever finish in the Premier League.
