Ghanaian striker, Antoine Semenyo, provided a crucial assist in Bournemouth’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle in a dramatic encounter at the Vitality Stadium.

Semenyo’s precise cross in the first half set up Marcus Tavernier, who scored to give Bournemouth a deserved lead.

Despite Bournemouth's strong start, they were unable to secure a win.

The hosts could have doubled their lead, but Evanilson failed to score with the glorious chances provided to him by Semenyo.

Newcastle later came to life in the final stages, and Anthony Gordon equalised for the visitors.

Semenyo is the first Ghanaian in the Premier League this season to provide an assist and score a goal.
