Antwi wants to retain Goal King crown

Ghanaian striker John Antwi says he is poised to retain his Goal King crown in the Egyptian Premier League.

The 22-year-old’s 11 goals for Ismaily in the regular season was just enough to hand him the top scorer’s prize in last term in the Egyptian top flight.

Antwi’s hot form was truncated over Ismaily’s failure to reach the playoffs of the Egyptian season.

The ex Hearts of Oak hitman has already scored over one-third of his last season tally and is hoping his good start to the new season will see him finish top scorer once more again.

“I am very happy with my form so far at the start of the league,” he told Happy FM.

“I have played all six games and thankfully I have scored four goals.

“I hope to keep up my form so that I retain my Goal King award after this season.”
