Appiah's 23 men arrive in USA

The Ghana Black Stars have arrived in Miami, Florida, several days ahead of their match with South Korea.

After a disappointing loss against Holland (1-0), the Stars arrived in Miami, on June 1. The world known players, together with their coach, Kwesi Appiah will participate in various events throughout the Miami region.

On June 7th, the Black stars will participate in a soccer clinic, in anticipation of their match against South Korea on June 9th. The match against South Korea will occur at the SunLife stadium at 6pm, and after that, the Black Stars will visit Washington, D.C.

Defender Jerry Akaminko who suffered a heartbreaking ankle injury and is ruled out of the tournament is travelling with the team to the United States to see an ankle specialist.

The team will spend a week training at their USA camping before taking on Asian giants South Korea in the last warm-up game on June 9 before heading to Brazil the next day.

Ghana's Group G opponents Portugal and Germany have already arrived in the USA and intensified their training as he both seek a good tournament.
