Kwesi Appiah on Sunday announced his final Ghana squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The injured Jerry Akaminko, Jeffrey Schulpp and David Accam did not make the cut from the party that will travel to the Miami for the final phase of preparations as Appiah trimmed his preliminary squad to 23
Akaminko picked up an ankle injury during the closing stages of the Black Stars' friendly on Saturday against the Netherlands in Rotterdam and is ruled out for the next three months.
Appiah's squad includes 16 World Cup debutants.
Captain Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Muntari will be making their third-straight final while Jonathan Mensah, Michael Essien, Kwadwo Asamoah, Andre Ayew and Kevin-Prince Boateng all prepare for their second appearance.
