Arhus join Pimpong chase

Pimpong held talks with two Egyptian clubsDanish club Arhus have joined the chase to sign Ghana international Razak Pimpong from Norwegian side Viking. The 25-year-old has confirmed that he held talks with Egyptian clubs Zamalek and El Masry on Thursday over moving to the north African country. But Arhus are also keen on signing the World Cup forward as he found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Vikings.

"The talks in Egypt were very positive and I have returned to Norway to talk to my family about the move," the 25-year-old told Ghanasoccernet. "The interesting thing too is that Danish club Arhus have also contacted me and they want me to play for them.

"I will make a final decision soon but I have to consider that my wife and son will be included in my final decision."

The former F.C. Copenhagen man was a regular for the Black Stars and featured in the 2006 World Cup.

However, his lack of game time at club level has severely restricted his national appearances.
