Accra, July 10, GNA - Ghana Armed Forces beat Old Hands 15-14 on Saturday at the Prisons Sports Complex in an 11th week fixture of the National League.
Armed Forces scored two goals within the first four minutes and never looked back as they dominated their opponents with their superior built and strength.
Skipper Kwame Kyeremanteng however played a great game for the Old Hands and scored some fine goals to narrow the gap. At the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex, Ghana Police Service spanked Hostac 28-14.
And in an earlier fixture on Thursday at the Fire Service Academy and Training School, Prisons Service thrashed Asomdwe by 26 goals to nine.
The competition continues at the weekend with some interesting fixtures.
On Friday, Hostac plays Future Stars at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex and on Saturday, Young Hands play Ghana Police at Kpando, while Old Hands slug it out with Fire Service at the Prisons Sports Complex. 10 July 05
