Arsenal have turned down a £25 million bid from Nottingham Forest for striker Eddie Nketiah, who could leave the club this summer.

Despite scoring 38 goals in 168 appearances for the Gunners, Nketiah has struggled for regular playing time, making only 10 starts last season. In 2024, he has not started a single game, with Brazilian attacker Gabriel Jesus and German attacker Kai Havertz preferred ahead of him.

Nketiah, who joined Arsenal’s academy after leaving Chelsea, made his senior debut in a 2017 Europa League match against BATE Borisov.

He later scored his first Premier League goal in a 2019 win over Burnley. Nottingham Forest are eager to sign the 24-year-old, with manager Nuno Espirito Santo eyeing him as a key addition to bolster their attack.

According to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest's initial offer of £25 million, including add-ons, was rejected, with Arsenal holding out for a fee closer to £30-£35 million. Talks are ongoing between the clubs and Eddie Nketiah’s representatives.
