Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has confirmed that he feels fit enough to make a return from the treatment room for Ghana's' second Group C match at the AFCON 2015 against Algeria.
The Al Ain striker trained with his Black Stars teammates on Tuesday in Mongomo, after recovering from the malaria that kept him out of the opening 2-1 loss to Senegal.
“I feel good. I did the necessary medical examinations and I am restored. Yes I Am. There is no reason why I do not play this game,” Gyan told Algerian football website Lebuteur.
Meanwhile, defender John Boye is in line to start against Algeria after returning to full scale training from an illness.
