Former Black Stars striker, Asamoah Gyan has chosen the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations as his favourite AFCON tournament.
Gyan made his choice in a short conversation with CAF on Instagram where he was made to name his favourite AFCON tournament.
The Black Stars' all-time top scorer led Ghana to their first AFCON final since 1982 during the 2010 edition of the tournament.
He scored three goals, finishing as the second-top scorer in the tournament tied with three other players.
Two of his goals came against Angola and Nigeria in the quarter-final and semi-final inspiring Ghana to 1-0 wins in both games.
Ghana, unfortunately, lost in the final to Egypt as Mohamed Nagy Ismail Afash commonly known as Gedo made the difference with an 85th minute dagger.
To each their own. 😏#TotalEnergiesAFCON pic.twitter.com/ZP90xdiNcV
