Chief Executive Officer of BabyJet Promotions, Asamoah Gyan has promised heavy security for the WBO title fight between former IBO champion, Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe versus Namibia’s Paulus Moses at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday.

The Black Stars skipper called on boxing fans not to panic ahead of tomorrow’s fight because BabyJet will mount heavy security to man the place to shut down any eventualities of riots from hooligans. He also cautioned spectators who attend the event to act maturely and behave well no matter the outcome from the fights.

Last week Saturday, irritated boxing fans marred the WBO Africa super bantamweight title fight between Isaac Sackey and Wasiru Mohammed after Beninois referee Adorn Bertin's controversially brought the fight to an abrupt end after the title holder, Isaac Sackey was knocked down in round 3.

But speaking at the weigh in on Friday at the Bukom Boxing arena, Asamoah Gyan noted that the security of the fans comes first and hence BabyJet Promotions have teamed up with the security force to enable the fight run smoothly.

Asamoah Gyan said, “Tomorrow security is going to be very tight, you know what happened last time and when we talk about BabyJet promotion, security is our main focus so we don’t want any misconduct here.”

Gyan also emphasized on his companies desire to revive Ghana Boxing saying the sports is at its peak at the moment.

“BabyJet has revived Ghana Boxing and we are ready to project Ghana Boxing to the world. Boxing in Ghana is really peaking and we are very happy for our boxers who are training very hard, respect them a lot because to dedicate yourself to this particular job is not an easy task,” Asamoah Gyan said.

The president of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Peter Zwennes also assured boxing fans that adequate security measures have been taken to ensure the safety and enjoyment of fans.

Among the many undercards fight on the night includes a duel between Ayitey Powers versus comedian Baba Spirit with the Bukom Banku being the ring announcer.
