Ghana FA officials are flying Captain Asamoah Gyan to Mongomo to undergo the scan on his injured hip; DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.

The 29-year-old has to be jetted to Mongomo since that is the only city in Equatorial Guinea that has a hospital with an MRI equipment for the scan.
