Ghana and Raja Casablanca defender Awal Mohammed has jumped to the defense of underperforming Ghanaians Yakubu Mohammed and Nathaniel Asamoah to find their form in time.
Reports emanating from Casablanca this morning is that one of the two forwards (Yakubu Mohammed and Nathaniel Asamoah) will be freed from the club following a below power performance since his arrival.
The GREEN CASTLE has struggled for goals this season despite splashing cash to bring in the two Ghanaian forwards.
Nathaniel Asamoah who joined Raja Casablanca from Medeama has played in only four games this season while Yakubu Mohammed who joined from AshGold has had seven games and a goal.
But Awal Mohammed says he is very certain both have what it takes to excel with the club.
“It’s been a very rough run for us all but I really trust that they will come good with time,” Awal told GHANAsoccernet.com
“They are working really hard both in training and when they get the opportunity to play so I am certain that they will come good.”
