While Kwadwo Asamoah was coming off the bench to provide an assist to team mate Amero for the winning goal in Udinese’s 2-1 win over Stade Rennes in the Europa League on Thursday night; thieves were surprisingly robbing the 22-year-old midfielder of his jewellery.
Fellow team mate and compatriot who also featured in the 2-1 win, Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu confirmed the incident on his twitter page on Friday.
“Kwadwo Asamoah has been robbed while he was away on duty for Udinese”.
Further checks by footyghana.com revealed that Kwadwo Asamoah returned home from Europa league duty around half past midnight on Friday to find out that burglars had broken into his house. They made away with two Gucci watches; a customized watch with his jersey number 20 and a diamond necklace with his surname, “Asamoah” etched on it. The burglars broke into his house by forcing a shutter of the bathroom window.
Kwadwo Asamoah immediately informed the Police who are now investigation into the incident.
