Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has welcomed rumours linking Alexis Sanchez with a summer move to Juventus.
Sanchez, 24, appears set to quit Barcelona having fallen down the pecking order at the Camp Nou.
If the move materializes, the Chile international will reunite with Asamoah whom he played with during their days at Udinese.
The Ghana international believes Sanchez’s quality will make the Italian champions even stronger as the club seeks to regain its lost place amongst Europe’s elite.
“He possesses great quality,” the 24-year-old told the Corriere dello Sport.
“And he’s a really quick player too.
“Should he come here then he would be able to give us a helping hand.”
Asamoah moved to Juventus last summer – a year after Sanchez had left Udinese for the Spanish giants.
