Operations Manager for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Kennedy has advised arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak to stop reeling on the Appeals Committee ruling and concentrate on recruiting new players for the upcoming season.
The Appeals Committee upheld the appeal of Kumasi Asante Kotoko after the Disciplinary Committee's earlier ruling which went in favour of Accra Hearts of Oak over the “ineligibility” of Kotoko striker Obed Owusu in a League match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Rainbow Club has since made an intention to pursue the case at the Review Committee to reverse the decision in their favor.
George Kennedy, however insists the Phobians must focus on recruiting players rather than pursuing the case.
"Hearts should rather concentrate on player recruitment instead of pursuing this case because it will not yield them any positive results,” he said.
Hearts has reportedly transfer-listed 15 players and recruitment for the next season has become a necessary aspect of the team with new coach Kenichi Yatshuhashi also new to the local terrain.
