Kumasi Asante Kotoko players resumed training on Monday, November 2, 2015 Communications Manager, Kwaku Ahenkorah has disclosed.

The playing body went on a break immediately after the 2014/15 First Capital Plus Premier League, in which the Porcupines placed second on the table, losing the title they won last season to Ashgold.

The team’s six-week rest period now comes to an end next week. “Existing registered and unregistered players who have agreements with the club” are all to report at the Adako Jachie training ground said the Communications Manager in his interaction with Asantekotokosc.com.

With the Ghana Football Association (GFA) yet to organise Congress to formally close the 2014/15 season, it’s unknown when the 2015/16 Premier League will start.

Meanwhile, the club’s recruitment has been ongoing with four players officially named as new signings. Management is confident that, the team would be put in good shape before 2015/16 competition gets under way.
