FA Cup champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko have confirmed their participation in the GHALCA G8 championship next year.
The off-season championship is set to begin on January 6th and ends on 22nd of the same month, before the start of the Ghana Premier League next season.
The Porcupine Warriors were initially reported to opt out of the tournament due to an invitational championship in Germany.
However, the club held a meeting where it took a decision to participate in the tournament.
The club posted,"Asante Kotoko confirms participation in the G8 tournament which will kick off from the 6th-22nd of January 2018 in a meeting attended by @thecruggers @JoelHammond_ and Nana Kwame Dankwah," confirming their participation.
