A board member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kwaku Amponsah, has challenged Accra Hearts of Oak to seek review if they feel hard done by the verdict of the Appeals Committee of the GFA.

Kotoko on Tuesday, won their appeal to regain the 6 points docked them for fielding an unqualified player in a game against Hearts of Oak, (which Kotoko won 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium), during the second round of the 2014/2015 league season.

Amponsah in an interview said, " We know our points will be given us. But we lost hope as the case prolonged , but since we have regained our points, Hearts can go for review, we will not be worried".

"We knew the truth will come out, the law is the law, no matter what you do, the Elite Cup has come to stay so , I don't know what Hearts will do to win the points back".

The said-player Obed Owusu sat out in Kotoko’s Elite Cup game against Dunkwa United after accruing 4 yellow cards before he played the Hearts game. However, the Phobians claimed the elite cup was not an official competition and got six points deducted from the accumulated points of the Kumasi-based side.

Kotoko appealed against the verdict and won yesterday with the Appeal’s Committee restoring their deducted points.
