The Porcupine Warriors were ordered to pay former coach Kjetil Zachariassen a compensation after they were found guilty of contract breaches by the players' & coaches' status committee of the Ghana Football Association in late February.

The Norwegian trainer was shown the exit in November 2019 after just four months in charge of the club.

Zachariassen sought for compensation for his unfair dismissal by dragging the Asante Kotoko to the Ghana FA status committee.

The Ghanaian giants had 14 days to settle the Norwegian's compensation from the day of the ruling.

Asante Kotoko has by close of today to adhere to the directives of the GFA status committee to pay the former AshantiGold SC coach an amount of US$12,450 and GhC660.

Checks from the GFA this morning suggest Asante Kotoko is yet to pay the debt which has been confirmed by Charles Kouadio agent of the coach to Oyerepa FM in Kumasi.

"Our lawyer wrote a reminder to them but they failed to reply and our checks at the FA shows they haven't paid"

"If they fail to pay by close of day,we will write to notify the GFA and you know what that means"

If the Porcupine Warriors fail to honour the order from the Ghana Football Association by close of the day, their next league fixture will be forfeited.
