Asante Kotoko wants to follow in the footsteps of Hearts of Oak by taking their preseason preparations to Libya days after seeing off Serbian side Jagodina.
The dethroned Ghanaian side are billed to play an unnamed Libyan club as part of their preparations for the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season.
Ghana’s leading football website GHANAsoccernet.com understands that coach David Duncan will stay in Ghana to participate in the upcoming GHALCA G-6 tournament while deputy Michael Osei takes a squad of 16 players for the friendly game in Libya.
What is unclear is which team Kotoko will put out for the G-6 competition as it presents David Duncan’s side an opportunity to win their first silverware of the season.
