Defending Ghana League Champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will this afternoon unveil a new German physiotherapist at the club’s secretariat, Sportscrusader.com has gathered.

The female German physiotherapist, by name Jana, is supposed to beef up the club’s medical team headed by Kwaku Boateng.

Coach David Duncan has been apparently worried with the rampant injuries to the club’s key players which largely contributed to their inability to defend the league trophy.

The German physio is believed to be experienced in her field, having worked with several football clubs in the European country.

She will basically be required to help encourage the development of players and facilitate recovery, enabling them to stay healthy.

“She’s suppose to work directly under Dr. Boatemg and the two will help strengthen the medical department in our quest to improve and restructure all units”, a source disclosed.

Kotoko will also use the occasion to unveil Sedogo Halipha, a 22-year midfielder from Burkina Faso.
