German Bundesliga side FC Cologne are tracking Ghanaian international winger Ernest Asante who plays for Norwegian side Stabaek IF.
Cologne are on the market looking for a pacey winger for a winter buy and the 26-year-old has appeared on their radar.
Asante, who has been rated the second fastest footballer on the globe by EA Sport, has appeared as a transfer target for a host of top clubs in Europe but Stabaek are yet to receive any official bid.
Cologne manager Peter Stöger has reportedly watched the player who had trials at Manchester United in 2008 as an 18-year-old and could make an official bid to sign him if he keeps his form till the end of the Norwegian season.
The Sunyani-born has bagged 10 league goals and has fascinated many with his impressive rate of assist after setting up 12 goals since the start of the season.
