The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is confident the Black Stars will triumph over Lesotho on Friday when they clash in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's expressed his confidence on Thursday evening after watching the Black Stars train ahead of the game in Kumasi.
He was accompanied by Minister for Youth and Sports Kofi Humado, and Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi during the visit.
Other GFA executives Felix Ansong, Moses Armah, Fred Crentsil, Fred Pappoe as well as Black Stars management committee members Ofosu 'Sikkens' Bamfo, Yaw Boateng Gyan were also present.
The King of the Ashantis interacted with all the players , coaches and backroom staff and expressed the confidence that Ghana will win their first game in the qualifiers.
"As you can see you are enjoying the massive support of the people of Kumasi and they are all behind you for tomorrow's game," Otumfuo Osei Tutu II told the players.
"I am not certain if I will be in the stadium tomorrow. Even If I am not here I will be with you in spirit.
"I want to hear the fans scream and cheer so loud that I can hear it from my palace in Manhyia.
"You have shown true commitment to the team and I am sure that you will win tomorrow's game."
Stand-in captain Sulley Muntari expressed his appreciation to the Otumfuo and assured that king that they will not disappoint in Friday's game.
"We are very grateful for your visit this evening and your presence here has given us another reason to go out to win against Lesotho," Muntari said. "We have prepared very well and we will go all out for victory. We will not disappoint you."
Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II is an ardent football fan and follows the Black Stars with keen interest.
