Ho, Sept.24, GNA - Obuasi Ashgold Sporting Club maintained their unbeaten record in the on going Onetouch Premier League when they drew one all with Ho based Power FC at the Ho Sports Stadium on Sunday. The first 45 minutes of the match did not record any goal despite Power's persistent pressure on Ashgold, whose defence proved unyielding with George Owu in goal pulling spectacular saves to the frustration of the home team.
In the fifth minute, Power FC however had an opportunity to score the first goal when they earned a spot kick, but the penalty was wasted by captain Abeiku Bani.
After the recess Ashgold broke the deadlock in the 65th minute when Nasir Lamine capitalised on a defensive blunder to score the opener. The Power lads raised their attack and got the much needed equaliser in the 88th minute through a free kick beautifully converted by Daniel Quao to end the exciting proceedings one all.
