AshGold captain Shafiu Mumuni has admitted that he won’t hesitate to join Asante Kotoko when the opportunity avails itself.

24-year-old has returned from abroad after he wishes to join a Romanian side fell through.

Shafiu Mumuni has said that he will not hesitate to join the Porcupine Warriors from the Miners should they show interest.

“I have heard the rumour in the media linking me to Asante Kotoko but they haven’t been any official approach but I’m ever ready to play for them. It’s a matter of negotiation and whether I will be content with the amount they will offer,” he told Kumasi FM 104.1 MHZ.

The AshGold talisman was a very key striker when the Miners won the NC Tournament Tier 2 competition.

Shafiu Mumuni bagged six goals to win the top scorer in the 2019 WAFU Championship.
