Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars and Ashanti Gold are the latest clubs hunting for the services of former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ernest Sowah, according to his agent Oduro Sarfo.
The 28-year-old mutually terminated his contract with the Porcupines last week after falling out with the club's top hierarchy and was initially reported to be heading for Accra to conclude talks with Hearts of Oak, but Ashanti Gold and Aduana look set to hijack the move.
“Aside Hearts of Oak, two other clubs[Ashgold, Aduana] have contacted us for his services but we have not reached an agreement with any of them,” Sarfo told Nhyira FM.
“We are still weighing the offers on the table before we can conclude. We don't have any problems with the clubs that have come forward but the financial aspect is what has delayed all the negotiations.
“However, by Tuesday, we'll finalised everything with the one that is willing to meet his demands. He wants to prove to Ghanaians that he is still one of the best goalkeepers on the continent,” he added.
Sowah was a member of Ghana’s squad that finished second at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
