National Coordinating Council, the supporters union of AshantiGold SC, has outlined three key decisions to swiftly improve the fortunes of the club.
The decision includes the reduction of the coach’s salary by 50%, head coach Bashir Hayford sacked.
The fans body also called for the removal of the club’s communication director and two management members.
The league champions suffered an early exit from the 2016 CAF Champions League.
They have managed just a win of their seven Ghana Premier League fixtures this current campaign.
The fans have asked the board to act on the following;
Salary of CEO cut by 50%
Supporters accept the CEO of the club is being paid hefty amount as salary every month.
The salary of the CEO is undisclosed though.
They want 50% of the CEO's salary cut off to help the club to save some money to settle arrears within and without the club.
Resignation of Head Coach
The Ashanti Gold SC supporters have also asked the head coach Bashiru Hayford to resign from his post after guiding the club to a dreadful start to their title defence campaign this season.
The Ashanti Gold SC fans feel the head coach has lost control of the dressing which have led to their awful campaign so far.
They have given the head coach up to Friday, 15th April, 2016 to resign from his head coach role.
Communications Director and other two Management members to step aside
The National Coordinating Council (NCC) have also petitioned the communications director of the club, Mr. Kofi Yawson and two other management members Mr. John Williams and Mr. Clement Donkor to step aside because their work for the club are undefined.
The supporters believe the stepping aside of these management members will enhance the club to cut some cost.
