Ashgold’s first goal was dubious - Gyawu

Kpando Heart of Lions striker Joseph Baffour Gyawu has expressed his dissatisfaction over Ashanti Gold's first goal against his side in midweek.

Gyawu who netted twice against the Miners in the 3-2 win reiterated that the first goal by Yakubu Mohammed was dubious, but the referee ignored it.

“Ashgold’s first goal by Yakubu Mohammed was not a good goal but the referee ignored it. The ball was outside. Maybe he did not see it,” Gyawu told Goal Ghana.

“Anyway I thank God for giving me two goals against the league leaders. It was a difficult game, but we sailed through.”

Gyawu who is one of the young delightful players in the Ghana local league has also played in Latvia.
