Asiamah has shown maturity in dealing with the stars bonus issue

Though he has not yet ushered into office but he has achieved what Napoleon or his immediate predecessor couldn't do in 8months.Sports minister-designate, Hon.Isaac Kwame Asiamah has proven to all and sundry that, the work of a sports minister is not about leaking some important meetings to some radio stations.Too much talking and bluffing is not one of the characteristics of the ministerial post. His predecessor started the player bonus slashing but the players refused to accept because of how he went about it.Sobre reflection communication is important for a higher position like this and it seems Hon.ASiamah knew this thus why he didn't disclose anything to any media house before he thrashed out the issue with the concern parties. He humbly appealed to the players about financial crises in the system hence the need for 50% bonus slashing. He didn't use his position to compel them neither did he made the decision on one sided base.Mutual understanding between the two parties was an order of the day with no imposition.Competence and technical know-how of the job at hand were on display. The players have also demonstrated high sense of commitment and patriotism.Even during the autocratic rule of Nii Lantey they once showed that patriotic character by purchasing their own flight ticket for a match.

What more else do Ghanaians want from them, their performance at afcon is a superb.

l am on this biggest ever platform to congratulate Hon.Asiamah, the playing body, the FA contingent for the good job done.

You could see the happiness on the face of the slashing to show how matured both parties were.Let's all pray for the team success and let's stop jubilating over the slashing especially the Anti-FA presenters who are having baseless thinking about the football Association.
