Atletico Madrid star Thomas Partey has been evasive on talks linking him to the Black Stars captaincy.
The buzzing midfielder has captained the Black Stars in recent times with substantive skipper Asamoah Gyan and deputy in Andre Ayew being left out.
Partey's influence in the national team is growing and has been touted as the next leader of the new Black Stars.
But the 25-year-old has made 13 international appearances and scored six goals.
''First of all, I try to work hard every day. In my position there are a few players in the club with similar characteristics, from which I still try to learn, and then others can see me in the squad,'' Partey told journalists after the Super Cup win over Real Madrid.
