Atsu in Porto squad for next season

Ghana winger Christian Atsu has been named in Porto's official 29-man squad for the season ending speculations about his future.

The 20-year-old is highly rated by coach Victor Pereira and sees the youngster as one of his key men for the campaign.

Atsu has hugely impressed on pre-season with the Dragons and last Sunday's scintillating display in the friendly against Lyon was enough to convince all and sundry.

He had been heavily linked with English Premier League trio Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.

Atsu spent last season on loan at Rio Ave, also in the Portuguese top-flight, and was named the club's Player of the Year.

His compatriot David Addy was excluded from the Porto squad.
