Malaga manager Javi Garcia has included fit-again Ghana star Christian Atsu in his squad for Los Boquerones's La Liga trip to Real Sociedad on Saturday.
On the back of his opening 45 minutes in Malaga colours, Atsu has not featured since that debut appearance thanks to a thigh injury.
He was ruled out for two weeks after the Getafe match, meaning he has featured just once.
But he returned to training last week and manager Garcia restored him to his first team squad and named him in an 18-man squad for the La Liga clash on Saturday night.
The Ghanaian midfielder joined the Blues from Porto in September 2013 but is yet to feature for the first team. Instead, it's temporary transfers to Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, Bournemouth and now Malaga that have defined his Stamford Bridge career.
Atsu is expected to start the game for Malaga, who are chasing their 9th win of the season and aiming to move further away from the relegation zone.
Atsu has already outperformed his entire campaign with Bournemouth this season in England before his move to the La Liga side.
