Attram De’ Visser Academy Chief, Godwin Attram, has decided on a price for right-back Christopher Nettey. The fee is said to be worth $400,000 which is equivalent to GHC 2 billion old currency which will be a record on the local scene for a defender.
The 21-year old star arrived at Kotoko on a loan deal, which was enough to convince the Porcupine Warriors to table a permanent deal.
According to Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM, the deal spearheaded by Nana Gyambibi Coker, General Manager of Kotoko saw the two parties agreeing on $350,000 for three years but Executive chairman but Attram has debunked those claims said he prince Nettey above the aforementioned amount.
“I value my player, Christopher Nettey at $400,000,” Attram said an interview.
Nettey has been a key cog in coach Maxwell Konadu’s team after making all nine appearances for the club so far in the premier league with some impressive outings hence the eagerness to sign him permanently.
He has had previous spells with clubs in Holland with PSV Eindhoven topping the list.
