Israeli coach Avram Grant has returned to the United Kingdom after visiting Ghana last week to hold talks over his appointment as the next Black Stars coach.
The former Chelsea manager is in line to be appointed the next Ghana boss after reaching an agreement with the Ghana FA.
Local reports claimed Grant would earn a monthly salary of US$ 50,000 and a signing on fee of US$ 200,000 if he signs a two-year contract.
Grant beat competition from Michel Pont and Juan Ignacio Jimenez during the interview session in Accra.
The 59-year-old has rich experience after leading Chelsea to the 2008 UEFA Champions League finals.
He has also handled English Premier League clubs West Ham United and Portsmouth.
