Ghana Coach, Avram Grant will land at the Kotoka International Airport on Friday night to begin preparation for Ghana’s AFCON 2017 Qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.

The Israeli was granted a 20-day leave by the Ghana Football Association after the Black Stars’ opening game against Mauritius game but ended up spending almost two months holidaying in Europe.

The former Chelsea manager has come under intense criticism for his prolonged stay abroad, paying little attention to the domestic competitions.

Reports in the local media claimed the Ghana Football Association has expressed dissatisfaction over Grant’s continued stay in Europe, with speculations that he is expected to be queried by his employers upon his return.

A Ghana Football Association source has disclosed to Sportscrusader.com that Grant is expected to arrive in the country on Friday ahead of the friendly against Congo Brazzaville on the FIFA international day.
