Ghana defender Awal Mohammed says he is enjoying his preseason with Raja Casablanca having featured in all three games so far.
Awal, signed a three year deal with the historic Moroccan side earlier in the summer after cancelling his contract with Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab.
The Ghana international enjoyed three sparkling years with South African side Maritzburg before moving to Saudi Arabia.
Contractual disagreement with Al Shabab meant the former Asante Kotoko stalwart was already on his way after just three months in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
But after signing for Raja Casablanca and playing in all their preseason games Awal says he is delighted to be settling in well with his new team mates.
“Preseason has been great and we have all tried to give our best here in Turkey,” the Ghana international told GHANAsoccernet.com
“I am really enjoying the place because it allows me to play football and the coach demands a lot from us all.
“The feeling is good as you can only get better with every games, but i have to credit my team mates who are making me feel at home already.”
Awal was a member of Ghana’s team that finished second in the last Africa cup of nations held in Equatorial Guinea.
