Ayew, Schlupp, Waris and Accam warm up for Int’l break with goals

Fifa Ballon d’Or nominee Christian Atsu was left out of the AC Bournemouth squad that played Watford in the 1-1 draw at home.

Jordan Ayew made a second half appearance for his Aston Villa side who lost by a single goal to nil against Stoke City at home.

Abdul Baba Rahman was an unused substitute as his Chelsea side were disciplined by Southampton on home soil. Chelsea lost the Premier League game by three goals to one after scoring the first goal of the game.

Andre Ayew scored against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday as his Swansea City side entertained the London club at the Liberty stadium. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

In the Spanish La Liga, Wakaso Mubarak played the full game for Las Palmas who were defeated at home by 2-0 against Eibar. Ghanaian player Wakaso received a yellow card booking in the game.

In the French Ligue 1, Abudul Majeed Waris scored from the penalty spot in FC Lorient’s home game against Bordeaux. Waris and Lorient took all points in the game after edging Bordeaux 3-2 in the five-goal thriller.

Daniel Amartey played the full game for FC Koebenhavn as the Denmark team won their home game against Viborg by a goal to nil.

Samuel Afum made an 85 minute substitute appearance for Young Boys in their 3-1 win against Grasshoppers on Sunday.

In Switzerland, Ebenezer Assifuah started and played 59 minutes for Sion in their away game against St. Gallen. The Ghanaian and his Sion side held the home team to a 1-1 draw.
