New Swansea City signing Andre Ayew says he is calm as he gets ready to join new team mates for pre-season.
The attacker left Ghana to bid a final farewell to his folks at Marseille a couple of days ago before joining his new club during the week for the coming season’s preparations.
Ayew signed a four-year deal with the Welsh club in a free agent move which reportedly fetched him £8m in enticement fees.
“You need to be real calm when getting into a new club, there are a lot of games that will be played,” said the Ghanaian international whose capture has been hailed as a major coup by the Swans.
Swansea are scheduled to open their 2015/16 English Premier League campaign at Chelsea on August 8 and the 25-year-old knows their readiness for the big clash depends on good preparations.
