President of Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG), Evans Yeboah has been elected as Executive board member of Badminton Confederation of Africa at their just ended Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in South Africa.
He previously served as council member for the governing body. The Ghanaian joins the 7-member board that will deliberate and implement policies and legislations to improve the development of Badminton in Africa.
Mr. Evans thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in him to be a part of the Confederation’s key-decision making table.
He noted that there was a lot of work to be done for the development of the game and called on all members to come board for development of the game in and outside the country.
Under his leadership, Ghana’s Badminton team became the first African team to ever qualify 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games (GC2018).
