On Saturday, the best form of athletics (100m) will hit the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi for the finals of the Surfline Ghana’s Fastest Human (GFH) race.
GFH founder Reks Brobby has said ahead of the event that all is set for the heats and he was anticipating an uncompromising race.
“The build-up has been something else, all the athletes have shown great promise; the qualifiers was keenly-contested and if the words of the runners is anything to go by, then we should expect one of the best races in recent months,” said Brobby.
Three years down the line, the competition has already gained roots-unearthing more talents leading to African World Airlines coming on board as supporting sponsor.
They join other sponsors like Pippas Gym, Moringa King, First Atlantic Bank, Indomie and Global Media Alliance to crown the country’s fastest in U-10, 13, 18 and senior categories this Saturday.
Ghana’s Fastest Human with Surfline as its headline sponsor entered its third year this year after two successful events. It is being powered by GNPC.
Runners who will distinguish themselves in their respective fields of endeavour will run home with attractive financial rewards, products from Indomie Instant Noodles and certificates.
