Hasaacas Ladies coach Yusif Basigi has hailed his side’s remarkable achievement in the National women’s League after winning the title for the third successive time.

The Black Queens coach who could arguably go down to become the best female coach in Ghana led his side to beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies 1-0 in the finals played at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Basigi who doubles as head coach of Ghana Premier League side Sekondi Hasaacas has parted his team for winning the trophy for three consecutive times.

“It is a big win because our opponents were very strong. You all saw how good they were,” the soft-spoken coach affirmed.

“I will like to congratulate my girls for the good work done, winning he trophy for three consercutive time is not easy.

“You saw how our opponents were eager to cause an upset but at the end we were able to beat them.

“The girls did extremely well and I’m very happy.”

The affable football manager first won the League with the Club in 2013 before retaining it in 2014.

He also guided the Black Queens team to a historic Gold medal at the 2015 All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville.
