The draw for the next African Beach Soccer Championship Seychelles 2015 has been held. Guests seated in the auditorium of the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt witnessed the draw which put Ghana in a tough group against Morocco and Senegal.
CAF Secretary General, Hicham El Amrani conducted the draw and was assisted by CAF Executive Committee member, Ahmad, who doubles as the president of the Organizing Committee for African Beach Soccer Championship.
Group A - Seychelles, Nigeria, Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire Group B - Senegal, Morocco, Ghana, Madagascar.
But Theophilus Nii Armah Coach of the Black Sharks of Ghana believes he can change the tide and put Ghana among the best Beach Soccer countries in the world.
“We have the beach and the players, what else, we just have to train and train and be fit to beat the world” said.
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah President of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association said Ghana has come of age very rapidly and he believes if corporate Ghana supports Beach Soccer they will be the b est like the Black Stars who rule the green turf.
Ghana beat Uganda 9 -2 at the La Arena recently top make it the Seychelles 2015.
