*SHARKS DARE LEADERS; SUNSET SPORTS FOCUS ON TITLE*

The Championship race between Ada Assurance and defending Champions Keta Sunset Sports is set to move up a notch higher and there would be no place for hiding at the bottom as relegation threatened clubs attempt to secure Championship action next season with out-of-skin performances.

Accra rivals Nungua United and Layoca would battle it out for three precious points in a hotly contested relegation battle. Layoca had the wind taken out of their sails when they lost 3-0 to Keta Sunset sports last weekend but would seek to prevent any slip against Nungua United.

East Legon Sharks who seem to have turned on the screws lately with two consecutive wins and would hope to come unstuck against current Leaders Ada Assurance who have silverware firmly in sight. The bookmakers would easily call it for the Ada Based team but the Coach Maxwell Kpeglo and his lads know it's a rather tricky mission against the spiky Sharks who are in search of another giant killing feat.

Defending Champions, Keta Sunset Sports claim they haven't relinquished their title yet, but know they need to keep up the pressure on Ada Assurance whom they trail by three points and hope the door to the 2012/2013 beach soccer title swings open. Sunset's assignment this weekend couldn't have been any tougher, they play Dansoman who have been a thorn in flesh for the league's top sides lately.

Havedji Mighty Warriors find themselves on the outside, looking in on the title race, but would need to muster wins to protect their third spot or push for 2nd ,and that must begin in earnest against Teshie United. Tegbi Youth who are losing more grounds at the foot of the table would play 4th placed Wuo Gb33.

Two top of the table clashes hold the prospects of this weekend's headlines in Division One. Firstly, third placed Tema United would take on fourth placed Cape coast United in a closely fought battle as both seek to edge out ways to Championship qualification. Current leaders Nima and third placed African Angels would sloth it in the other game of prime interest. Nima might be assured of Championship qualification with their current position but would hope not to be dragged into any nervy end of season squabble with Gulf Powers who are breathing down their necks.

Gulf Powers would need to keep themselves in contention for the final championship qualifying slot with a win when they play Chorkor Blue Whales who have very little motivation left to win games. Winneba Giants head into match day 16 in the knowledge that they have suffered 3 straight defeats and six setbacks in the last seven and would fight to make amends against Senya Sharks.

The battered Osu Dolphins would engage Golden Eagles who have themselves in similar circumstances in the weekends final fixture.
