The newly signed head coach of Bechem United football club Alberto Vincenzo Annese has registered his displeasure at the manner which referees in Ghana handle matches.
According to him, the referees do not allow the game to flow with their constant whistle blowing, something he says really annoys him.
“In Ghana here, there is a lot of stopping in the game and I don’t like it” The Italian trainer made this statement in an exclusive interview with sportsworldghana.com.
“I like my team to play fast and rapid without stopping, I don’t like the game to be stopped”
“If you watch matches from Europe, the referees will never stop the game the players will be running even when there is a fall so sometimes the referees here must also continue to play they whistle too much” he stressed.
Alberto Annese who has already lost his first trophy with the Hunters after their 1-0 defeat to the GPL champions Wa All Stars in the Superclub competition this year affirmed his players' readiness for both the Ghana Premier League and the CAF confederations Cup competition
“My team is always ready even today we are ready because we train every day so I know we are ready and I don’t care about the Hearts of Oaks and the Kotoko they say they are the best team in Ghana but don’t care about them” he concluded.
