Bechem United head coach, Kwaku Danso, is confident that his side can secure their first victory of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season when they face Hearts of Oak this weekend.

After drawing their opening two matches, the coach is eager to turn those performances into a win as his team prepares to take on the Phobians in Accra.

Nicknamed the Hunters, Bechem United will head into the Week 3 fixture determined to hunt down their first three points of the campaign.

Speaking to the club’s media team in a pre-match interview, Coach Danso revealed that his side has worked hard during training, particularly on improving their goal-scoring, which has been a challenge in their early games.

“The performance hasn’t been bad; it’s just that we have a problem with goal-scoring. So, this week we’ve been focusing on that, and I believe in our next match, things will be better. Looking at the team’s progress in training, I’m confident the players are ready to step up,” Coach Kwaku Danso explained.

Bechem United enters the match following two consecutive draws against Aduana Stars and Nations FC. The coach is optimistic that his team’s preparation will pay off, as they aim to make a statement with a win over the Accra-based giants.

The much-anticipated clash between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United is set for Sunday, September 22, with kickoff at 6 PM at the Legon Sports Stadium.
