Ex-Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe has given the clearest hint he could sign for a capital-based team to put giants Hearts on red alert.

The 29-year-old is a free agent and has been undertaking personal training ahead of his next move.

Hearts have denied claims they are interested in the ex-Kotoko goal machine amid the reported interest.

But the former Heart of Lions striker has confirmed he will sign for a local club
before the transfer window shut.

“True I will sign for a local club. I will not go abroad this season. I want to show Ghanaians that I am still playing well,” he told Accra-based Happy FM

“I stay in Accra. This is where I have my property and so I will most likely play for a team here.
“I am open for discussion because I’m a free agent.”
