...Pantsil issues warning to Red Devils
John Pantsil has told Manchester United not to expect an easy ride from West Ham United on Saturday.
United need maximum points from their last two matches of the season to make sure they finish ahead of Chelsea in the Barclays Premier League, with Alan Curbishley's men travelling to Old Trafford for a Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
The Hammers have beaten United in their last three meetings and Pantsil wants a repeat result in order to claim a top-half finish.
"We don't want to go down to 11th or 12th in the league, so every game left is important for the club," he told the club's official website.
"We are going to Old Trafford to do everything possible to get a point or even three."
Pantsil, who has enjoyed rare consecutive starts in the Hammers' last two matches, is relishing the thought of taking on the Red Devils on their home turf.
"I love playing in the big stadiums and with the big atmosphere," he said. "That brings out the best in me. We are looking forward to playing at Old Trafford.
"I am happy I have been playing," he added. "The crowd has been fantastic and really encouraged me to keep going. It is marvellous to be able play for these fans, they support us in everything we do.
"I have to do everything possible to do my best when I play for the club. It is all for the team-mates and the fans. Next season is going to be even better for West Ham United. We are going to challenge the big teams. With the crowd behind us we are always going to have confidence, and with every game we can't wait to see them in the stands."
