Hearts of Oak striker, Bernard Arthur has put in a transfer request to force a move to city rivals Accra Great Olympics in the ongoing transfer window.

Arthur's stay with the Phobians hasn't been a success story after the departure of former coach Kim Grant and that's urging him to make the switch to the city rivals this transfer window.

The 23-year-old has managed to score only once this season and has seen a limited number of matches after match week 14 in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League and he sees Olympics as the club who will give him the much playing time he is aspiring for.

Bernard Arthur confirmed this news in an interview with Kumasi 104.1 FM.

“I want to leave Hearts of Oak but the club does not want to send me off. I have sent in my transfer request because I feel I’ve to leave Hearts of Oak to get much playing time,” Bernard Arthur said.

Before he joined Hearts of Oak, Bernard played for Algerian side AS Aïn M'lila and Tanzanian's Azam FC where he failed to impress.
